The Beach Is Back! For 2026, Parkapalooza returns to Sanford Lake’s restored waterfront for the kind of day this community has been waiting to share.
This is more than an end-of-summer festival. It is a chance to gather by the water, hear great music, make new memories, and celebrate a beach day at the lake once again.

How it works
- Registration is limited to the first 30 teams; late registration is available only if space remains.
- Teams may have up to five sculptors. Artists under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
- Bring your own shovels, spatulas, buckets, and other sculpting tools.
- Use sand and water, plus natural resources found on the beach. No glass, live animals, or inorganic, toxic, or non-biodegradable stabilizers.
Contestants must be available on September 13 and agree to hold harmless the event organizers, Huntington Bank, Midland County, and their agents. Judges’ determination is final. Huntington Bank volunteers will assist with official sign-up.
